What Kids Say About Rocket to Creativity Camp

It took my mind on an adventure

It took my mind on an adventure

You see In school we learn how to write, read, and do well and be nice to each other; now here, we do all those things but we also learn how to say something and we also create stuff a lot…we just learn everything…”

It is good for your mind. It is very helpful, and it can be very fun.  A lot of things can really be fun if you just imagine them.”

It can help you with a lot of things in life  if your stranded with one rope and open pulley, you can do anything, well not anything, but you can make lots of stuff to help you survive.  Being creative helps the mind.

It lets you think outside the box, it helps you in school.  Like if you can think of a different way to solve a math problem, it can help you.”

I used SCAMPER about 10 times.  Adapt I used three times, eliminate 6 times, I used one other one but I can’t remember.”

We are making gadgets today, and you can do anything.  The mind has to be open so that they can think of anything.

Everybody says you have to stay focused, but really that is the enemy of creativity.   You have to just open your mind to all of the possibilities.  You get one idea and if you just go with it; it’s so cool to see all the things you can come up with.

It is good for your mind. It is very helpful, and it can be very fun.  A lot of things can really be fun if you just imagine them.”
